I have this Sig rangefinder and love what it does for my rifles but recently went to a match where some plates were suspended in the air on posts and it was difficult to get an exact range on them with the rangefinder. The stage brief told us what the yardage was but I could not find a way to enter the yardage directly into the app that works with the rangefinder. Is there any way to manually enter the yardage into the app?? If not, is there a ballistic calculator app available that is very close to what the rangefinder uses so I can have a chart available? I think Sig uses Applied Ballistics in their rangefinders but wanted to ask what others have found or used. Thanks in advance.

Love to see any suggestions for this also.
And, I don’t see how to “true” this either, any suggestions!

Pages 44-46 discuss MV calibration which is the truing function.

The Bushnell app uses the same ABU engine (limited to 875 yards and none of the fancy tweaks).

On the targets tab you can manually enter 5 different ranges and it will show the data for your selected cartridge and weather.

On the range card tab you can select starting yardage and step distance and get a full chart out to 875 that can be exported for printing.
