Those type oil drains have a air line setup that allows you to pressurize the holding tank so you can use air to "push" the waste oil into a larger holding tank for reclamation.
You hook up the air line and flip a 1/4 turn lever to drain it.
Thing is that you also have to shut off another valve so it pushes the waste oil thru a tube into the larger tank.
If you don't do it right the portable unit has about 20 +/- gallons of waste oil that blows out the top.....with shop air usually at 150psi it can be quite violent....as you can see.
I've seen others do that exact same thing, but since those style tanks came out I was shop lead/foreman and never messed with them.....the newbs change oil, the experienced dudes do the trickier jobs they can't handle.
If I'd ever messed with them I'm sure it would have happened to me too since you're almost always in a rush in a good shop shit like that happens.
Unfortunately, the dude in the pic looked like he was changing diesel engine oil since it's so black.....and it's a serious bitch to clean due to that same blackness caused by diesel combustion blowby.

Been 30 years since I worked in a shop. I had no idea about the pressure draining. I always just dumped my 5~ gallons in a floor drain that went to the in ground bowser. Thanks for the info, seems over kill to me.

Sort of like the sanitary tank on a sub...

That face is so alluring it ALMOST makes me forget the disgusting ring in the nose. Similar, but lesser, reaction to the rods through the nipples. WTF - it's like me installing a 1/4-24 bolt through the side of my dick.
Dated a girl like this for awhile (blonde though). So worth it. I have an appreciation for piercings, especially glow in the dark tongue studs, just saying!

It's probably one of the biggest problems we have today; the excuses and whining and the 'its ok to quit if its too hard' mentality.

One of the things in football (not hand egg!) that a lot of people don't understand is that while the game has overall gotten faster, the amount of physicality and contact 'allowed' now is way, way less than it was even in the 90s. For Americans, its roughly the same for the NBA and NFL; if you look at what was allowed in the 90s to what is a call 100% of the time now, same idea.

People used to get rekt. It was hard. You got beat up the entire time. Plus you still had to do everything they still do now.

There's comparisons to older players where stats are the major factor. Doesn't even tell the story. Yet for example, in the 70s, German Gerd Muller had a 1 goal/better per game lifetime AVERAGE across German league games and international games where he went to win the World Cup. Yet somehow Ronaldo or Messi are 'better'. LOL Those 2 would have been fucking manhandled and raped to death if they had played during that time frame.

Also....this is Franz Beckenbauer (greatest player of all time, basically invented the way defense is played now but did it in the 70s/80s; he was basically a fucking alien). This is him getting back on the field after separating/breaking his shoulder/collar a few minutes beforehand.

Imagine this happening now.
