Have a friend that is offering a C429 Nightforce for sale but wants me to make offer...
In good shape no scratches etc.
Whats a fair offer Yall think?

Very few serious shooters use it. The scope manufactures don’t. Are about it ( all the good reticles are mil)

So if you don’t want to easily communicate with other shooters and don’t care about superior reticles have at it.

Second focal plane also ?

On a serious note..

I really would appreciate some input of opinion on a serious offer to my Friend for a :

Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 w/ zero stop and moar reticle. And yes... Its 2nd focal
light handling marks. no ring moarks , no scratches that my Prehistoric eyes can find.

I come from a niche perspective on this scope. It has inherent value, as a military piece of history, and used on some sniper rifles in the mid 2000's. That is the only real value that would not push the scope, otherwise into obscurity. But, NXS is a solid scope, and very high quality optics. Many target shooters prefer MOA and 2nd Focal Plane for similicity. Not a bad scope, for sure.
