Spots inside barrel bore

Hey guys. Was inspecting the bore of a rifle that has about 500 rounds through it. Anyone know what these spots are?

They show up half through the bore approaching the crown.

Dunno...maybe powder fouling? Have you tried cleaning it?

Hard to tell as it’s kind of blurry but the bore looks wet. The spots on pic 2 almost look like droplets of something but hard to tell for sure when it’s not a sharp image. When is the last time it was shot/cleaned?

Looks like dried spots of cleaning solvent or oil

I'd agree with the others and say to mop the barrel and put a patch of something down it to make sure there is no residual contamination. contamination of tool steels is a problem with risks of oxidation or corrosion, so its always good form to wipe stuff down.
