No argument here, but I have a few $400+ bi pods so while not a grand, not exactly Caldwell either.... I had a client that had a bunch of purses, I mean a bunch. I wad absolutely shocked to know what they cost. My wife really wanted a $300 one once and so I gave her 300 bucks to get it, she then anguished over it for weeks and then I lost interest in it. I don't even know if she got the thing actually but I think she finally did.

Exactly! All the above. It all comes down to enforcement, either for or against. Someone has to enforce this shit either way. Judges can say whatever the hell they want but if nobody enforces what the judge rules, then it’s just words.

Why do we get fines, probation, or prison time when we break a law but these idiots can do it over and over again and blatantly ignore the supreme law of the land with zero consequences? I actually have one of the carbon fiber Caldwell bipods.
There is a whole bunch of high end bipods that are not as sturdy, or as lightweight, as that cheap Caldwell.
I'd take it over a harris any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Say what you will about it, it's a damn decent bipod.

I'm a CPA and the wife is an EA. We have a tax advisory firm with a few employees.

Every year on 4/16 we have a treat yo'self day from parks and rec. We rent an exotic car, start with brunch and massages, then bougie shopping, swanky dinner and usually end with drinks on a rooftop bar in the city. She buys one of these bags a year on that day and I usually buy a rifle or pistol (or both) of equivalent value. The other 364 days of the year we're scrooges.

I'm not buying anymore purses. I've bought 2. One for my mother a carry purse) and one for my wife (also a carry purse) and neither have ever used them. They were about 300 or so each. Think about the ammo I could have gotten, and then loaded the cases too....
