Is there a list somewhere on what the 2 additional colors are on the different finishes of Manners stocks? I'm looking specifically for the Elite Tac Swamp and Elite Tac Midnight to match the colors on a kydex cheek riser.

Manners has their colors and finishes page but doesn't list the exact colors. I am sure @RobertB could answer that or a quick call to get exact colors. Below is a closer pic of my stock in Tac Midnight to give an idea if that may help.

Question though, why would you use a kydex cheek riser on a Manners? Order it with an adjustable cheek and be done with it.

To make weight for Hunter matches. I already have an EH1-A in Midnight that'll make weight with a Medium Palma but I'm selling it because that adjustable cheek piece adds 1 pound that I'd rather put into a Heavy Palma. I just got a replacement EH1 in Swamp from another member in the Exchange. I also found an LRH on here in Midnight (that will save me a 6 month wait) I'll play with that will likely be more appropriate but 2 is better then 1! 😁
Also my EH1-A had more 'color' on it that I preferred than the current ones that show a lot more carbon fiber. If I can add a bit more of that color back in it would suit me better.

I thought I remembered seeing somewhere some of the colors that make up the patterns so before I bothered them I thought I'd check here first. 100 dumb inquiries like that every day takes them away from making more stocks!

Black matches everything. :) Velcro, closed cell foam would work well too and not need drilling. Shape the foam to fit and use velcro to hold it in place. Used to outfit my whitewater kayaks with foam, it holds up well. You could glue fabric or leather to the top as well to help protect it.

Manners makes an ultra lite cheek piece that uses spacers and is very light. I’d do that long before I’d do kydex. That said for 50mm scope or less I’m okay with no cheek piece on an eh1

They don't have anything on their website. I need to add 1" on most all my rifles so I definitely need a sturdy cheek riser.
Call them they offer it. Look up manners ultralite cheek piece for details. It’s basically a piece of carbon molded to the stock with a spacer system underneath.

Looked it up. Two things...
-What happens when you have to shoot weak side? Looks like it's only good for one side.
-I need 1" of riser, this is half that

I guess you need kydex then. I’m just going off memory as I have one on an eh1. Weak side shooting would be fine in a pinch with one, mines on a hunting gun so I could really care less about weak side. I didn’t realize that there is only 5/8” of adjustment, my spacers seem to give more than that.

I use mine dropped to the stock.

If they could make one wrapped around both sides I'm sure I can stick some 1" nylon spacers under there and be stable but I do enough weak side shooting I wouldn't want to compromise the position. I also already have the kydex cheek riser and all the hardware.

Hey guys, we can add more spacers if you wanted the lightweight Pc! While I’ve always wanted it to be an ambi model it does work for weak side shooting. I don’t feel the lack of cheek near as much as I thought I would. But yes, it’s def much better on the strong side.

The colors we use are made for us by sherwin Williams and I may could get you some pantones if you would like. The midnight is simply light grey and dark grey in our catalog and swamp is FDE and OD green. Both over black carbon fiber.

Hope this helps

Thank you Robert! I didn't know what the base colors were considered so that's perfect.

Is there any reason it can't have two sides instead of just the one? I wish I knew somebody around here to try it.
