I'd have to say out to 1000 not alot of ranges in the area past 300. So working up from 300 sounds like fun

Are you on the Escanaba/east side? or Iron River/Watersmeet side?

Either way, the closest easy access range is the Negaunee Rod and Rifle club, just west of Marquette. It's only 600 yds. If on the east side of the lower UP, the closest 1000 yd. range is MTC in Lake city which is downstate. Otherwise, scout around at some of the highline right-of-way cuts that are isolated and you can set up ranges on those.

Iron Mountain Area I'll have to check on the Rod and Rifle in Negaunee...............power line right of way is a good idea
