I must be the last guy on Earth to hear about this mod for getting rid of trigger creep.
What’s your opinion on it? Safe?
I did it to one of my ‘cheap farm rifle’ builds which had a horrible PSA trigger. I’d already polished out the gritty pull but it had loads of creep.
After adjusting out the creep with the set screw I beat the heck out of the lower and couldn’t get it to ‘drop fire’ so it seems safe to me but I would value your opinions before I loctite it in place.

They're good to go. Just don't adjust it to be right on the edge of function. They definitely help a parts kit trigger to not suck so bad.
I was just playing around with it again. With the screw just backed off a fraction you can still see the hammer getting pulled back a little bit before it breaks so I think I’m ok with it. It’s taken it down to 5 lbs which is fine for a farm gun. And again I beat the crap out of the lower on the bench, didn’t release the trigger.
Good easy mod!!

I have 3 or 4 of them. You can't really set them up to fail because you will run into the safety long before it drops the hammer.
I think they are worth the low price with a little polishing on the trigger group if you are on a tight budget.

Had one many years ago on an A2 bushmaster with polish work and jp springs. I ran it until 2010-2013
