It’s only a Hurst AMX
I always liked the looks of those two cars, Javelin and amx. Thought the Marlin was just so darn cool looking. Guy a couple doors down was an AMC dealer when I was growing up. One day he brought home a gokart with a ?plastic/fiberglass? body of a gremlin with an X paint job. We had more fun with that thing even driving it around the track at the Jr. high school.
Found it, as I remember it was red white and blue.
Bought my daughter the same pistol when she was about that age. Her's isn't purple though.
For my fellow cannon enthusiasts and other assorted redlegs out there.

There are only a select few of us who know what that means. Mine was in a ‘72 AMX
Mine is going back into my 76 CJ7 this spring...
Going to be running a bit... hotter... than when it came out!
