Looking to upgrade a T3x. I was looking at my barrel options. Seems like preferred barrels has good stuff. One option was threading, which which I want for a suppressor. Looks like they only offer class 2A threading. Competitor barrel makers offer 3A. Is 2A acceptable for suppressors? Assume it might be, but don't want to spend >700 on an assumption. Also looking at criterion, PVA (which does 3A). No where near made up my mind yet.

2A just has more clearance so the threads will be a little looser but they'll work. The most important thing is that the threads are concentric to bore and the shoulder. The shoulder is what the keeps the suppressor aligned and tension on the threads.
