Africa currently has 10,000 CAPTIVE lions that were raised for cub petting/canned hunting. Less than 23K in the wild Africa and India (Air forest) combined. I'm OK with N. American mountain lions helping us with our migrant problem...wait - I have an idea...Oh, snap. Texas recently passed legislation making it hard to keep lions.
