Every fucking week someone comes on with some ass hat website that has everything that is unobtainium at other legit sites, never bother to look at the site in detail (like the the bullshit Finland address that they didn't bother to look up), don't bother to look at payment methods which are a dead give away (like Zelle and crypto only...WTF, really?) or bother with a simple google search like this:
I think in the future if the poster isn't willing to do even the least amount of work to verify the site, they ought to be allowed to learn a lesson.

You didn’t even look the site over, much less any other source, or you would have seen obvious red flags.
If I pissed you off, good. Then maybe next time you’ll get off your ass and do a bit of research yourself before asking others to provide info for you.
Always look at payment options. If it’s crypto type stuff with no credit cards accepted then you know it’s a scam.
Do people even pay attention the names of these websites anymore?

I`ve often wondered if some on here are as tough in person as they are as anonymous cyber bullies. Just ignore them. They probably need this site as an outlet for release due to excessive hen pecking by their wives. If you put on blinders to them, this is a good site with often useful, and civil, input.

Oh yeah!! No question of that for sure. On SH, the odds of asking a question that SOMEBODY will feel is stupid and feel compelled to take the offending poster to task, most often in an expletive laden response, is extremely high.
I understand people get alittle frustrated by certain things. I think the people who are freaking out at someone asking a dumb question need to have the thick skin. I have no problem getting some constructive criticism, but if you fly off the handle about a “dumb” question on a message board should you really own a firearm. This should be the place to come for guidance and maybe some good old ribbing occasionally. Thanks to everyone for your insight.
In general, if someone is looking for " constructive criticism ", they`d best go somewhere else. Some, not all, of posters here will be tripping over themselves as to who can get in the wittiest put down the quickest. Your comment about firearms ownership is an interesting one. It`s indeed a sobering thought to think of some posters here with a loaded firearm tucked away under the front seats of their vehicles. Then again, though perhaps unintended, the founder of SH may well have provided a venue through which some posters here can vent upon others whatever frustrations, innate need to bully others, or over compensation for an inferiority complex they may have in a safe and faceless manner. For providing such a venue, he deserves the public`s thanks and appreciation!

Don’t take some lighthearted jokes at your expense too seriously. In life, outside of the internet too, everyone has asked a foolish question and gotten made fun of.
It’s like this: imagine you and your buddies are hanging out drinking some Bud. You open a new beer and it explodes in your face. Someone shook all of the beer. You get some razzing.
1) hopefully you laugh it off and say something like, “I’m opening the next one slower you fuckers,” or “That’s exactly what I did on your mom’s face last night.”
2) hopefully you do NOT say, “You know what guys? You really hurt my feelings, I’m calling your mom and I’m taking my ball and going home.” (I am not saying that this is what you did)

Personally, I wouldn't be overly concerned with the absolute best price. With guns I’ve found that service after the fact is a lot more important than with, say, consumer electronics. Guns are still like some hand-fitted thing out of the early 20th century. They can have issues, even the good brands.
So I like to use a local shop that adds on a lifetime warranty to any gun purchased through them. They handle the shipping and dealing with the company.
It’s come in handy. Shipping a gun to the manufacturer costs at least $50, and sometimes multiple trips are required.
I got a brand new replacement CZ 527 through this shop, with a lot less stress than if I handled it myself.
If you must go online, I think Bud’s has an add-on warranty like that, but I have never used it and the one time I did order a gun through Bud’s, yep, you guessed it, I got a lemon and had to personally deal with the manufacturer. Ugh.
Edit: Even if the LGS doesn’t offer a lifetime warranty, that’s ok because the gun will probably have issues early if it’s going to have them at all. Just make sure the LGS will handle shipping, ship on their dime, and will communicate with the manufacturer.

Thanks for the input! I just ordered a tikka varmint from buds and almost bypassed the lifetime insurance. Glad I got it for like $50 extra. I doubt the tikka has issues, but better safe than sorry I guess.
The insurance was probably a good move, particularly so since it`s a Tikka that you bought. No, I`m not saying that Tikka makes a problem prone rifle, to the contrary, they are excellent guns. They are, however, saddled with service through Beretta USA. In all likelihood one of the worst customer service outfits in the industry. The internet is replete with complaints concerning them.
