We have a mama hawk here that had 2 young last year. They are all still in the area and I hear them all the time. I still have all my cats LOL so they are ok by me.
I want to ask y’all to pray for my aunt who is in the hospital with liver trouble. She has never been a drinker but that organ seems to be shutting down. Her age makes surgeries a non-starter. I appreciate your intercession.
We got to meet a few fellow travelers late last night on the way back from Alabama. Someone went to far off the shoulder and rolled it a few times. Spent 45 minutes waiting for them to scrape up parts.
How much does anyone want to bet that she will cost more than the car?
For the amount of money my ex-wife cost me, I could have bought a Lamborghini and put a Las Vega show girl on my payroll.
But how fast can he remove 4 rims from a car, dismount, remount w/ stems, balance and reinstall, while properly setting torque? In 1980, I had a guy in a "Hotrock" store do it in 11 minutes. Fastest in the country.

Thinking of sticking a Summit house brand cheapo cam and lifters in it....maybe like a 280-292 duration ?
Dunno...kinda sux because it has A/C and makes a cam swap into an engine pull.....unless you want to rip the whole front end apart for clearance.
Yes, 1980 Chevy P/U with 40k original miles......they had a issue with cheap iron they used in the cam back then, notoriously went flat usually #5 or #7 lobes.

Sounds like a bad valve adjustment and the wrong oil.
Definitely use good lifters like Comp Cams. No sense in putting in a cam and ditching 40+ HP for $50 more on lifters.
