Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

gotta be careful visiting there, I was mauled by a Grizzly last time I was there with my son when he was about 5 years old. horrible thing for a child to have to see. few people survive a mauling by a Grizz

there is a small fenced area where you can see the cubs up close, back in the day it had a chain link fence around this enclosure, of course clearly marked "do not touch the bears." we had a grizzly cub rubbing up against the fence right next to us so I stuck my finger through the fence scratching its head and ears, getting a good laugh about how much it was enjoying the scratching. until the little fucker turned and bit the living shit outta my finger!

very hard to act like a man and say it didn't hurt, all while explaining to my young son that I hoped he learned a lesson and that is the exact reason you should never do touch the bears....

he was an adorable fuzzy little bastard though.
Man good thing your mind is in the right place and it wasn’t your dick.

Once a squirrel came close to mauling me. Well I mean the little fucker got within 5 feet of me. Still makes me lose sleep.

That's nothing. I once kicked over a hollow tree truck, a squirrel came charging out and mistook my leg for a tree. Made it up to my waist before realizing I wasn't wooden.

The horror is real.

Maybe I'm just an ignorant African. Of all the different foods available in a first world country, why on God's green earth would you choose baked beans to accompany a medium cooked rib-eye? 🤣
Went to Wegmans (local yuppie grocery store chain) today to pick up some salmon, since it's the only place I know of to get salmon that's not from Chile. (Picked up some sockeye and wild caught atlantic salmon to try, so we'll see how that goes.) Also, they do dry aged steaks and I picked up a ribeye. I haven't quite nailed down the reverse sear process yet, so I decided to slice it into two thin steaks and did a simple pan fry. Couple tablespoons of butter in the pan with salt & pepper to season. Came up on the rare side of medium. Not the most tender steak I've ever had and I didn't notice a huge difference in flavor. Maybe a little bit of something I couldn't quite place. I'm not sold on dry aging yet but I'd be willing to try it again someday.

What the hell is wrong with you?

Medium Ribeye? Why not just serve boot-leather? Or Arby's?

Good lord, I thought I was among gentlemen here. Medium Ribeye.

No just pictures of the sunrise and my Stonehenge marker.

I have been taking pictures now and than as I make my coffee and marking the movement of the sun rise north see nice before summer solstice.

I should have gave it its own thread to see how much movement is going on.

It’s already started south I’m guessing in two weeks or less it will be back at the water tower.
