Why, in all of these videos, do they never seem to have anything other than a puny little broom handle to adjust an attitude? Does no one ever keep a good Buford Pusser hickory staff, or at least a decent baseball bat handy for a proper attitude adjustment?
Well, me neither I guess. But we can hope one day they'll get it right.

I still have my riot baton. That should work just fine....

I have a carbon fiber shafted #5 Iron that has proven to be quite effective when applied to the shin area, while exerting surprisingly little effort.
I'm sure it could be effective in other areas as well, the need just hasn't arisen.
It can also be used to play golf.

I found that nothing motivates like searing pain.
Until about the age of 10 most things are learned through pain: stick a fork in an outlet? Pain. Take daddy's tools? Pain. Pull a wheelie and fall off your bike? Pain. For some that age can get pushed back well into their 50's or more.

Looks like Mr. Fuckwit took one to the shin as well. Once the adrenaline wears off that'll be a good reminder to DDSS (Don't Do Stupid Shit)

White guy will go to jail if he’s caught
What? Why absolutely not officer…..I tried to assist that man by getting that attacking shit fly off his back…..those things can kill a dude….after my first attempt the shit fly stung him and he fell…he was running from the fly last I saw…..

Why won't anyone sell me an extendable baton?

I mean, I have one, but I'd like about 5 more to stash in all the rigs. Only places online that sell them want a LEO letter or badge and department.

Peacekeeeper RCB is the best quality, so score one of those for your 1st choice in collapsible. They lock-out solid, and built with solid steel end-rod . ASP brand is still OK though.
Don't go small with a collapsible, go 26" 29". I don't see the point in a small and limiting your distance in reach.

Sooooooo……if you gonna fuck somebody up up with a piece of steel…..why not a 147 gr HP +P? How does one “civilian” articulate that they needed to defend themself from said attacker with a steel rod that could conceivably inflict serious bodily harm i.e. perm nerve damage, maiming, disfigurement, and possibly death in untrained hands, yet not have enough fear to resort to deadly force? Collapsable batons are designed for LEO use in pain compliance to take said bad guy into custody. They are one piece in the force continuum. I’d be real careful in giving someone the beat down with one just because they square off against you. You gonna have to articulate why bad guy is shitting his pants and blowing spit bubbles in his wheel chair, just because you had a disagreement over the parking space.

Depending on your state, it is possible to get training. Some security guard training company's in my state will teach the ASP Certification class to anyone. Then, assuming that you've used the baton only as you've been trained, it's somewhat court defensible.

You know, if the Federal Government wanted to really mess up a gun forum, they just need to have one or two obvious plants, then the paranoia would set in and almost every post would be "glowing". It seems like a successful tactic.

A 2 foot length of 2/0 copper THHN power line works WAYYYYYYY better.
Try it, you'll find a soft slap against the palm of your other hand will prove it real quick.

About $12 at Homie De-Pot.

When I first saw this video I thought he had a belt and went all 1970’s dad on him. Not gonna lie, I flinched a bit. The white dude’s strut I knew all too well - best thing to do is GTFO. More pain is being offered for the stupid. But it sure as hell shut down the tomfoolery for the black dude. Same as it did in the 70s and 80’s. There is a lesson therein.

A 5' piece of #5 rebar would be cheaper and money well spent.

Has a horn being honked ever stopped a street beatdown, ever?
Damn bro. Rebar? Give them at least a chance to learn. Use something that leaves an impression but doesn’t maim. But I do wonder if we have reached that point in certain cities. And at least for me, that really sucks. But, FAFO.

@chevy_man .. Don't listen to the negativity and fictitious scenarios . Why ? . This is America, where you have the freedom to own and ' carry both ' a collapsible baton and a firearm if you want to for self defense.

Rebar isn't very hard/stiff, it does have some good weight to it though, depending on diameter. There are better options...don't forget your glove and ball if you carry a Louisville Slugger.

Lots of flatwork guys are moving to fiberglass and carbon fiber rebar nowadays. 3/8” whippey stuff with slivers would be pretty icky
