Considering I stressed out for 1000 miles about whether my back tire would make it to Schloss Nitrocellulose… watching idiots like that burn 500 miles off a tire in 5 seconds and getting the habeus grabbis… warms my soul!

I got pulled doing wheelies on my CBR on Main St. at Bike Week in 94. All the Harley bikers cheered when the cop flagged me over. What a bunch a fags.
Not in 95. I got pulled more than once for pulling wheelies on A1A back in the day. Most times it was a tongue lashing. Bike Week was a guaranteed ticket though. Regardless of offense. Got pulled for not wearing my helmet during Spring Break, was stolen off my seat while I was at Razzles, and he made me park the bike and get a ride. "I can't let you ride that without helmet. Especially when you've been drinking". That cop was cool. He left while I was on the phone w/ my then girlfriend, now the wife, and I got back on and flew to her apartment. Living dangerously when I was 25. I'm much more responsible these days.
No Idea. I pulled it off of twitters and backed out too quick, then promptly lost it. Other than copy pasting the photo.

If a stranger does something stupid you help them out. If someone you know does it you laugh. If it's a friend you cheer like they just scored the winning touchdown.
It's was just your perception of the situation that their applause was for the 5 ohh.
It would be an interesting plot for a story to have a time traveller do that and then have to justify it to people who forgot who Hitler was. He goes back in time, kills Hitler, and gets arrested for murder when he returns to his own time. Not sure if it would be a comedy or drama.
