Flying RPGs are really brutal, nowhere to run nowhere to hide its worse than artillery. And usage of these FPV drones is exploding in this month it looks like more hits published than for the whole duration of the war so far and if the trend continues .............

Give Ukraine all the artists they want. IMHO. Let’s not give them atacms, storm shadow , asraams. watch these fall in Russian hands or be part of a negotiated truce . Just on storm shadow , Russia could catch up on 20 years of stealth research and then sell it to China. And then will will lose our strategic offset and need to spend another trillion to maintain our tech advantage

These types of drones were being marketed at most of the larger defense shows worldwide lately. They can be configured to carry mortar rounds, rpg’s, etc. These simple drones are causing the EW tactics and technology to adapt and increase to the point that new technologies are being created to bypass what is currently available. I have said it before: we are in a new arms race and phase. Everyone has realized that the “bullshit hobby drones” are no joke and can inflict more damages to a battle plan than just casualties. Most laughed when I stated this was the future. Nobody is laughing now.

Simple, easily replaced and effective with a serious reduction in loss of life of trained teams. It only gets more advanced and lethal from here. What we are looking at is the Model T version of what is coming. The main way to deny an adversary this capability is to kill their supply chain of certain components. Good luck with that; with the breakup of the world into NATO and BRICS this has become more difficult, by orders of magnitude.

Difficult to believe. How do you confirm a story like that? If tank operators from the German army start turning up dead, with closed caskets, isn't that going to become rather obvious at some point?
