In my days of working my way though college, managing a service station along the interstate, a gentleman who was fueling up, raised his hood, unwrapped his roast and basted it. Exhaust manifolds make for good cooking.
I’ve seen the crew on a paver pull a foil wrapped lump out of the asphalt mix and move it over the exhaust manifold. Turned out to be a perfectly slow cooked Beef Brisket. In my days of working my way though college, managing a service station along the interstate, a gentleman who was fueling up, raised his hood, unwrapped his roast and basted it. There are actually whole cookbooks dedicated to Manifold Cooking.I’ve seen the crew on a paver pull a foil wrapped lump out of the asphalt mix and move it over the exhaust manifold. Turned out to be a perfectly slow cooked Beef Brisket.
Yeah, right next to the welfare line…
Yah top speed, but that thing will climb a tree! When real 4x4’s were made, and made to last, take a work out, and be ready for more! You have a true treasure!
Cooking chili Mac on top of a turbo, not sure, but looks kind of like a Cummins, 855 ntc big cam truck diesel.
Fuck both those guys.
That’s our man, wish we had more like him in Washington instead of the corrupt puddle brains and empty heads that occupy the upper echelon’s of our government.
When you are a chick magnet
My niece's POS boyfriend, years ago, had a Ford Probe he was constantly working on. I asked her one day if it had the optional heated rear spoiler. She was confused and asked "why would Ford ever do that?" I told her, it's to keep your hands warm in the winter while you're pushing it home. I've never seen her laugh that hard. He didn't think I was very funny, and that made her laugh again. He never did get it running right, but he was kind of an idiot that thought he knew everything. Thankfully they didn't stay together. Not a Ford - no tow truck in front of it.
You don't need a laptop with the sniper. It has an attached 3" or a 5" display screen. If you change your cam from one requiring a 600 cfm carb to one requiring a 750 cfm carb how long will it take to get the correct jets installed to get the correct AFR? The sniper will self tune the AFR for all rpm ranges and I won't need another carb. The tunability aspect is debatable. Once you know how to tune a carbureted engine, it's just as easy arguably if not easier. I don't need an expensive laptop, or updated software to tune my components, just a screwdriver. Carbs are a simpler design and easier to diagnose when there's a gremlin in the mix.
There's a learning curve with both, pick your poison.
I've heated a bunch of MRE's with a jet engine preheater...............I’ve seen the crew on a paver pull a foil wrapped lump out of the asphalt mix and move it over the exhaust manifold. Turned out to be a perfectly slow cooked Beef Brisket.
i actually made this redneck sushi. chicken nuggets with spicy mayo.
On look from either one of my ex-wives and the bear would have turned to stone.
