Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Lessons for real life gunfights/use of force against multiple assailants: Coolness of head, keeping your shit together, and being accurate wins the day.

From the game Elite Dangerous:

Three powerful reptilian-insectoid Thargoid battle cruisers try to interdict an Anaconda class destroyer armed with shard cannons (125-155mm buck and ball beehive sabot rounds similar to current day main battle tank antipersonnel munitions.)

Thargoids: "We outnumber you three to one and we are using pulse lasers".

Player MECHAN: "That's my fetish"...

Pack these things with thermite or Willy Pete with a dispersal charge in the core, then load into a sabot corresponding with the bore of a Merkava tank. Should be hilarious and extremely entertaining when used against those Hamas fucks that are holed up in tiny concrete rooms shooting RPGs at the IDF...

If I have spare time and a tire, I would TOTALLY do that around a utility pole in fresh unmarked snow in the cover of night so people in the morning would be SO FUCKING CONFUSED to just how that is even possible... Glitch in the matrix posts on social media would run amuck... 😂

She’s a keeper!
Once years ago . I had a pretty good crash on the moto track 1/2 mile from our house. I had a string of injuries and crashes leading up to this. I got one of my friends to start the bike and I painfully got on and putted it home.
Got the bike in the garage and climbed off and put the triangle in the rear axle. I then decided to have a little
lay down on the nice cool concrete. The wife walks out and sees' me laying on the ground.
She ask's , what happened? I tell her about the crash and tell her I think. I'm done. I'm tired of being hurt and I'm tired of spending dollars fixing the bike! I ask her to please get me a beer. She does.
Then, she said to me. Ok. so you quit riding. Then what are you going to do? Your friends all ride. Your going to
be bored . Your going to be unhappy. When your friends are riding or racing and your not.
Riding makes you happy! You will feel different. About this in a couple of days.

She was right of course! I kept riding and racing for another 10 years after that crash. I miss motocross.
She has righted my course a few times over 30 plus years. When I have lost my focus or been feeling sorry for myself. We all need a good talking to. Once in a while.
