The police hate being treated like regular folks..

And misconduct justifys what happened to him?
Here is a story in a local paper.
He should have known not to say anything until his lawyer was there to advise him.
I think there is more to this story.
I see no one has gotten there hands on the affidavits for the search and arrest warrants.

He conveniently leaves out he was fired from another dept for falsifying his time card. Among other misconduct.

Way to put your business out there.
^^^^This is good advertisement right here.

They just wanted to fire him.
I've been accused of falsifying time cards, because my company didn't want me to list overtime.
Glad you never had to work for crooked assholes.
Of course having your own business comes with its own perils....
Such as, being directly affected by your actions.

and how many times in his 14 yr career did he, or someone he knows fail to show a warrant and separate a parent from their infant child ...and did nothing to stop it?

and how many times in his 14 yr career did he, or someone he knows threaten to leak info that could endanger a suspect...and did nothing to stop it?

and how many times in his 14 yr career did he, or someone he knows request a bail enhancement for BS reasons...and did nothing to stop it?

and how many times in his 14 yr career did he, or someone he knows lie and blame it on a "clerical error"...and did nothing to stop it?

funny the only time he decides to speak up is when it finally happens to him, and not us regular peasants.

You are assuming a lot.
He may have been doing things to stop it.
Losing his job for clerical errors on his time sheet is the real glaring red flag.
He was rocking the boat. He was good at his job and was a fly in their ointment.
Bring in the altered time sheets, a serious offense actually. Gotcha.
I know how it works cause I've been there. I was in hot water a couple times over time sheets I was told to alter.
Fortunately, I had copies and documentation. I told them when they started fudging overtime into regular time, carrying time off the books, etc, that it was illegal. They put me on the bad boy list. Later they turned around and used my false time sheet to try and prove I was "falsifying records" very serious especially in my former profession.
I provided some copies of time sheets and check stubs that management had modified.
They decided to let me slide...indefinitely.
By the time I left I could have took a week off and claimed I was there, and they'd said, "Right you are."
Time sheet fraud is serious offense. Lots of management all over tell their employees to fudge time sheets...quite often.
Lemme give you an example.
"Hey Peter, yeah listen, that overtime you have on your timesheet this week...yeah, thats a problem."

"But, I worked the overtime."

"Yeaaahh...see we sent the memo about overtime, you got the memo right? I'll make sure you get another memo."

"I got the memo, I dont need another memo. Its illegal to give me time off for overtime worked, and dictate when I can take that time, and not have a system for keeping track of that time."

"Yeahhh....Peter, it sounds like you aren't enjoying your job very much."

I would add my 2 cents to it.

If you see the government and the media and the courts telling you that you really need to hate somebody and be glad they got the boots put to them.
It's probably a good idea to be highly suspicious of it and start asking the hard questions.

I'm surprised the government didn't just plant some CP on his phone and then get all the stupid gullible "good folks" worked up into a mob to go do some street justice for them...

That being said, we are seeing "law enforcement" pretty much be used 3rd word dictatorship style and folks are still clucking their heads and saying "vote harder next time".

I would wager that the same news outlet ran stories about the Russia collusion hoax. I'd up the odds that they also published articles quoting Adam Schiff that they had physical evidence of the collusion.
But I am just a bit on the Don't Trust The Pravda side of the line.
It's not outside of the realm of possibilities that the FauxBI would release "classified" information to a Pravda outlet

The “hard” question is….why are the police allowing themselves to be used in this manner……the answer……….”my pension”

Yall keep beating that drum.
Aint gonna be as funny when they get to the part of the list you are on.
Exactly this. There will be justification for every overreach, it is prudent to start caring about that before they get to you (because they will).

If nothing else, it is good to see another officer see the other side of what they do (which isn't all bad btw)

Bullshit if all charges were dropped tomorrow he would be back on the job by lunch time….

Exactly….👍🏿

We wonder why cops act the way they do. We call them heroes simply for showing up and doing the job they are PAID, TRAINED and VOLUNTEERED for.

We allow cops to gaslight us into thinking their job is one of the most dangerous jobs when IT ISN'T EVEN IN THE TOP TEN nationally. I personally worked a job that IS on that list, for 25 years.

We allow them to parade around their own version of the American flag like they are a cult. We have a flag 🇺🇸 . A flag that my family members fought and died for.

If a cop dies there is a parade. If they kill a good samaritan in a case of panic fire, that killed the cop’s killer….. no parade.

My best friend is a cop. He is the closet person in my life. My brother. That said, he agrees with most of what I have to say about this. He is willing to look through the eyes of a civil libertarian. He knows that the abuses of power, can be turned on him as well.

The pension is just part of the joys of being one of the King's men.

They wouldn't want any other job and be just a lowly serf.

What other profession can you kill someone and it be ruled a 'bad shoot' and just lose your job instead of going to prison?

A professional statist attacked by other professional statists and he wants the working class to fund his defense? 😂
Reminds me of some other professional statists asking for charity and forgiveness from the working class for covid karma so they can get back pay and suit back up to serve and protect gov’t once again. I’ll admit, it takes balls and a complete lack of self awareness in both instances.

So....you don't see that they are simply purging their ranks of patriots?
I knew you are narrow minded, but are you really this obtuse?
I know two good officers on this board who walked away with the Covid mandates.
Its not quite as cut and dried as you make it out to be.
I agree with you on much, and I understand its a machine. The cogs are human, some of them are good people, in a bad spot.

They masked up like cowards and continued to serve and protect gov’t right up until their health was on the line. Only when the needle turned inward did these men take a stand. Their refusal was nothing more than self preservation at that point. It had fuck all to do with doing what was right. Those that refused to comply from the start deserve respect. Not the cowards in question or those like them.

I wonder how many people they terrorized in the name of gov’t right up to that point. I would bet you any amount of money the two you are talking about would suit right back up if/when given the chance and not much else gets as disgusting as that. I’m not naive enough to believe any gov man is with the people in any regard. Their way of life depends on the system that fucks the rest of us.

Edit to add:
I don’t believe in the good guys on the inside fighting for the people. I suppose you think the Hide resident federal guys are holding the fed terrorists at bay all behind the scenes. I don’t believe it for a second. “Just following orders” is what these guys do. They are all one in the same.

This right here. Past history proves that here will never be enough good ones on the inside to right the ship. Any good one with a moral conscience intact will leave that den of tyrannical thieves long before getting enough years in to claim that retirement.

I wonder what the suicide rate for cops is compared to other professions
