Apparently you’ve never bought a Big Mac in Hawaii where everybody lives in trailer houses.i think the price of a big mac meal and an apple pie is going to be roughly the hourly wage where it is bought.
hawaii may be a bit different because of the cost of shipping (even a box of cereal is expensive, comparatively, isn't it?).Apparently you’ve never bought a Big Mac in Hawaii where everybody lives in trailer houses.
I have determined that either from birth or some kind of mind virus, socialists are, in fact, incapable of adding one and one and have it equal two. I am not exaggerating or joking. You guys have it all wrong. It isn’t about a job that they have no intention of getting. This is merely another way to say “give me more free shit”.
If the cost of living goes up the welfare goes up. See how this works? And before someone says it, no, they have no idea how economics works and how bad this scenario screws them.
I have done some honest thought on this very thing. I think it comes down to jealousy, poor education and hopelessness in their ability to affect change that turns into protest if anyone will listen.I have determined that either from birth or some kind of mind virus, socialists are, in fact, incapable of adding one and one and have it equal two. I am not exaggerating or joking.
There is something pathologically wrong. Somehow, the DNA is different or changing similar to how a virus mutates.
it is worse than that. it's gone so far now, they look at anyone who doesnt buy into their madness as "science deniers" with their slogan "trust the science". as we know, it isnt actual science at all.michael savage already and always said and wrote that liberalism was a mental disorder. there is some sort of brain/mental gap in these people. they can be shown plain facts backed by overwhelming evidence and deny them when inconsistent with their wishful thinking world view. weird and scary. this has caused massive loss of resources and lives in the last 150+ or so years.
leave Frank out of this.Too frank? Tough shit
Except micky ds is already paying 20 per hour and the meal deals aren't 20 bucks. That means they want every “meal deal” at McDonalds or Taco Bell to be $50 also. Because if you look - the meal deals and minimum wage pretty much go hand in hand.
Our Walmart still has the same amount of checkers it did before self checkout. The lines are just shorter in the check out lanes.
I'm quite happy for you that your local economy doesn't reflect how things are everywhere else.....Except micky ds is already paying 20 per hour and the meal deals aren't 20 bucks.

I am just curious in which country you live? Here is another perspective from a socialist country. Socialism there is in effect for about 20 years now. When I entered the job market back in the early 2000s, the monthly income was around 14'000 USD for an experienced (10years+) engineer in the tech industry. As a matter of facts, I was training with people who earned even more, were living in nice houses, had kids/wife, very stable life. When I was studying/training with them that was definitively a good reference point for young people like me.
In a matter of a few years, the income in the industry went down to 12'000, then 10'000, then 8'000 for the exact same f*king job. Most people I known that were in good position gradually lost their jobs, had to relocate, divorced, lost an important part of their income. How? They poured the country with cheap workforces. That's right. You now have competing foreign workers who earn 6'000 per month to supposedly do the same high-value job. The quality of work of course go down as well...
At the same time, the low-skills jobs went UP, increasing the cost of basic services. You want to eat at a dinner/restaurant, that's 80% more. It's totally up-side down what was life back then, only 20 years ago. We have reached a point where the income flattened to a standard hourly value where there is no more distinction between what kind of job you do and how hard or demanding it is. In short, you no longer earn money according to the figure of merit.
If you go the welfare route, in the long run, you are at the exact same point as someone who work. Maybe you can even save more free money down the route and work the system. Cloward–Piven strategy in full effect.
There is a major difference between market forces driving wages, that is, employers having to offer more money because labor is in short supply, which is simple economics at work, supply and demand, versus the government dictating a certain wage.Except micky ds is already paying 20 per hour and the meal deals aren't 20 bucks.

You cannot isolate one part of the equation from the other. When people get all huffed up about minimum wage. They are usually ignoring inflation. Now for example. People want to blame the rising cost of goods on minimum wage. The problem is with inflation. The wages paid to make said product are a smaller percentage of the total price of said product that it was at the lower cost in 2020 or 2005. Yes, you are getting fleeced out of your money, but it's not McDonald's and Walmart employees doing it. It's those guys turning in record profits and those guys sending your money to Isreal and Ukraine.
True, we cannot directly blame the average Joe of the inflation. I would do however an exception if this specific Joe has voted or supported in some way or another a system that is generating constant inflation. I don't know about McDonald's but in some industries, the incomes are a important part of your costs, exceeding 70%. So if you have to rise the incomes, you have to mechanically increase your prices to the customers. That's not greed, that's reality for a lot of small businesses. Not what I said at all. I bet your Walmart and McDonald's have the same amount of empyees they did before, if not more. Low paying part time jobs are not the jobs disappearing. And a multimillion dollar machine is about as likely to replace those workers as electric cars are to replace gas.I'm quite happy for you that your local economy doesn't reflect how things are everywhere else.....
Now can you share some of that good fortune please?
I always figure people who take the time to virtue signal about not eating it, proabaly eat there 4 or 5 times per week.I don't touch the crap at Mcdump so go ahead and go for it. since the stupid only eat that crap that they love to see you smile while you strain to let it all out in toilet right after gulping that shit.
$9.61 per hour, 40 hour week, 52 weeks = $20,00020k per year empyees dont make a million dollars in 20 years.
Ok shitI always figure people who take the time to virtue signal about not eating it, proabaly eat there 4 or 5 times per week.
I bet you are stuffing a mcphish greedily into your McPiehole while whilst typing with what ever other misformed hoof like apendage you have.![]()
