If you are afraid of dogs you probably don't have a chance. Running away gives them the advantage. They are not much different than any other dog.

Wish I had taken a picture(pre-cell phone) of an engine I swapped at a Cadillac shop round 1990. Guy said he was doing about 120 when he got passed, and hammered it. Broke a piston and the rod sawed the Northstar block in half. I thought it was cool as shit that he did it, and even cooler that he admitted it. He wasn't charged for the engine replacement.
