Watertown MA or Waterlivet NY

Nordberg plant in Milwaukee. 44 foot long 80,000 pound hoist shaft. Lathe is a "Pond" 5'. I mainly was impressed with the steady rest!

Picture is from the 1900's. Lathe from the 1890's.

Another amazing American company lost to merger and overseas outsourcing... plant closed in 2004. Probably replaced with Chinese shit.

Not a gun barrel.

Cheers!

Well the question really is WHY did something really big hit something else. Was the really big thing not maintained? The people running it not qualified? Did something happen like we see in youtube videos where someone in Atlanta turned the window wipers on in a car driving down the road in St. Louis?

That is the question. And Funnier yet if it is the one people hope for Item 1 or 2, that is to make me feel better....you stupid fuck.

Well, there is another explanation that is nowhere near as fun as coming up with conspiracies…

We didn't go quite as big as @Lawless, but I smoked about 40lbs of butts. We had the in-laws and other family over, took one of our elderly neighbors a plate, and then vacuum sealed bags ranging from 1-2lbs and the wife took a few of those to give out to friends today. We had a great Easter weekend, and I hope everyone else did as well.

THAT can also serve as a mobile science research outpost for Mars. That bucket can fit an entire laboratory. Only downside is that the engine has to be converted to all electric since Mars atmosphere has no O2. Maybe a mini nuke reactor can be built in somewhere.

Yeah, but then you'll have to track down a guy named Quaid to fire up the reactor.
