AI AX, MTU Contour Barrel

I have a Post-14 AI AX. My current 6.5 CM barrel is a 26" Heavy Palma that is nearing the end. Considering a 26" MTU contour to replace it. Anyone running this contour? Just wondering if there are any issues regarding barrel size and the forend tube? Thanks.

i'm running a straight 1,25 on my ATX with no issues.

I ran a straight 1.250" barrel on my AX. With the factory forend, no issues at all. Some of the aftermarket options with mlock you can run into potential issues with how far the mlock screws protrude. I have had some issues with a HV contour and mlock forends. Went back to my stock AI forend and all is good.
