That website is ass. I made it through the first two paragraphs and got tired of scrolling past shit.
I can’t blame you. I hate those click bait websites that e absolutely pound you with pops and inserts and periodically pop you back to the top. They do suck ass.

Lakota legend tells of a white woman showing up in a starving village during a particularly harsh period thousands of years ago and predicting that a white buffalo, not albino, with black eyes, nose and hooves that will appear before a time of great change. In that case, the great herds returning. When she left, she gave them a special pipe and then turned into a white buffalo.

Many of the earlier stories of the plains Indians’ struggle against the white mans’ occupation described the white buffalo arrival as a sign that the Plains Indians would change the tide and emerge victorious after many defeats. This second one was not in the article, but I’ve read about it it a few places over the years.
