Blue crab don't have all that much meat on them.
You need the other ingredients to prevent starvation while you crack the crabs.

Shrimp mild seasonings, corn and potatoes acceptable, maybe some mushrooms.
Crawfish medium to heavy seasoning, corn, artichoke, potatoes, mushrooms, garlic, green beans, cauliflower ... pretty much anything ... no sausage and no fucking pineapple.
Lived right on the gulf my first 25 years ... many, many days fishing Chandeleur, never lived north of I-10 until I moved to Houston-ish and even then not in the first 8 years. Alexandria is north of the real Mason-Dixon line, I-10.

Nothing as glamorous as ziplining this time. I banged it into the leg of my kitchen bar stool. I spoke in an unknown language and saw visions. It was not religious…..but it was supernatural….
Went to a celebration of life of a very close friend and since I don't like crowds, I went to grilling burgers.
Did about 200 plus hotdogs.
Talking to my friend's brother afterwards we had to laugh about if John was still alive, he wouldn't be here either.
He'd be across the road drinking beer.
I guess that's why we were such good friends.

Northeast about to get ROASTED next week, after the southwest and midwest got it earlier.
PS: Hope everything's all right and that is just a bruise on your toe. I had a NASTY one across the top of my foot ages ago due to a heavily loaded trash tote tipping forward while regaining it's level, then crashing right back onto me. After that it is all steel toed boots for me.
