Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Reminds me of our first trip to NAS Fallon with the B-1Bs.
The first evening all four of our aircraft were directed to the hot pits for refueling.
The F-16s and F-18s were in bound as we rolled up to the hot pits.

Someone on the squid side didn't have any idea of the actual size of our aircraft. Ship 1 taxied up to the mid pit and the wings overhung the rest. The pit chief started bitching and moaning because their aircraft were very low on fuel. You should have seen his reaction when he found out two aircraft needed 180,000# and the other two needed 220,000#.

There was no way to move our jets out of the way, so the fighters had to be shut down until we were done.

The next night, we were directed to park on our apron area for refuel.

They sent a single short truck.

Oh boy, here we go again....

Roosevelt Roads in 87. Needed to get to a gunship, but could not drive on the navy’s active. They had a PO3 take me out. We get to the active and he looks at me and asked, “Where do we cross?” Dude, I’ve been here less than an hour.

That meme has been going around the shop here a lot, so this morning I bought 3 4-packs of compressed gas dust blasters in and plonked them down on a bench in front of everybody and said "Motherfuckers, don't forget... WE USE COMPRESSED AIR up in here, all right? If yall need more, just stick a note in the printer in the overhead office"... 😂😂😂
