Last year I had a customer call me about repairing a leak in the condensing unit. When I got there it was buried in bricks. The house was built in 1910 IIRC and the bricks on that side of the house had fallen from the house.

I have found it easier to engage actually. Not because I posess the ability to speak slow enough, sign, or color correctly to get through to the mentally ill... It just saves me a bunch of money on Christmas cards each year.

Glad that I'm not the only one that has captions turned on. Driving with the windows down, loud music, motorcycles that shooting has taken it's toll on my hearing...

Growing up shooting, I was an expert shot before I ever owned my first set of ear pro. Chainsaws with no mufflers, Harley straight drag pipes, wind, heavy equipment including sitting on a backhoe rock hammer all day...my poor ears.

I saw CDB in 1993 at The Boat House (no bigger than a small bar, with a tiny stage, gone now) in Norfolk VA and stood about five feet from him the whole show. Tickets were $20. I have zero idea why he would have done a tiny, shit-hole venue like that, for almost no money, but it was incredible. One of the most amazing shows of my life.

In the '88-'89 timeframe, I saw Keith Whitley, with his band, in a country music "bar" in Va. Beach. We went there to hang out, having no idea that he would be there. His band, Miami?, opened with a half hour set. They were good, as was he. Great show throughout. Small venues can be rocked with good talent, as we've seen/heard.

Also, they sold huge Ice Tea drinks for $6ea. Supposedly, two of them would drop a pretty good buzz onto a 150lb individual.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Fixed a few things that needed attention. Going to clean it some tomorrow….got too dang hot today. Took the step tubes off, always hated those things.

4x4 and Elocker work perfectly. Runs excellent, quiet motor. Electric rear window and moon roof work perfectly. The no rust thing is the most amazing part….came from Arizona.

Myself and two friends saw The WHO at the Hampton Coliseum in 1979... Tickets were $25.00. We were 8 rows back from the stage. I couldn't hear for two days after that. Great show...
