His parents’ house had Trump signs in the yard according to neighbors.
He frequented the range with his dad’s AR-15, looks like he was shooting some sort of hi-power type set-up.
Very easy shot for him to make. It will be interesting to see what his last interface with his phone was.

This numbskull could have simply aimed center mass at the Trump blob and would have had a hit. There is only about a 5 - 6 inch rise and fall in 300 yards. In fact, that was the purpose of the AR-15 model. CQB out to about 300 yards.
This distance was around 130 yards. He might have aimed for center mass but "failed to do his part."

So taking the shot prone, no bag, no bipod that we see, an AR 5.56 would not the the tool of choice. IMO.

I have never been fingerprinted for my DL. Where do they do that?
Initial Texas DL requires fingerprinting, or did when I got mine…

If you have one of them new REAL compliant ones, you should have had your print taken. It has been a while since I got mine in NC, but I’m 99% certain they do here still
I do have one of the new REAL DLs and have not provided any prints for that. Of course my prints were taken for my CWP, my contractors license and for Form 4s. But not for my DL, ever.
Is California requiring prints for all the free DLs they provide to the illegals? An interesting question.

This. When I applied for my EMT license I had to do a background check. I would expect the same for working in a nursing home with vulnerable people.
Yeah, not the case for me. I've been having the "real ID" in 3 different states (CA, AZ, TX) over the last 3-4 years... never had prints done.

I know they also take prints for the retirement id cards. Even my kids had to get prints. Not that this mouth breather would have that issue. Or who knows, maybe daddy was a veteran and he has/had a dependent id card??
They probably suspected who he was based on fingerprints and local witnesses so took a sample of his blood and compared it to the parents.
I've often wondered what happens to that hair sample they take on a random drug test.
If you have a Hazmat endorsement IIRC that does require prints.
I would say its most likely due to the fact that everyone and their brother is doing home DNA tests to find out if they are 0.2% or 0.4% Native American for bragging rights.

I'm sure you realize that we will NEVER see what was on his phone or computer.....right?? We will get what they want us to see/think. This will be full JFK smoke and mirrors. That's my cynical opinion anyway.
Texas requires prints for a DL or ID. Every time I have gone in, they make you scan your thumb. My kids who got State IDs had to scan their thumbs. Same as with their .gov dependent IDs.
No, it takes less than 20 min. We had our youngest son at SMU Hospital in North Texas. This is a teaching hospital. They were testing a new 3D ultrasound machine when we had ours done. Before the ultrasound they asked if we wanted to know the gender of the baby via DNA/Blood. They drew my wife's blood. We did the ultrasound, got the photos etc at the end they walked in and gave us the babies gender and said their were no blatant obvious DNA markers for issues. This was 9 years ago. They had our DNA early results back by the end of a routine ultrasound.
It does because of case backlog. The test itself doesn’t take more than a few hours.

In 2010 "Fast DNA" could match suspects in less than 4 hours. Just a couple years later, we got a Rapid DNA test result back in less than 1 hour. Today, less than 30 min depending on how much money you have and who is asking.

I don’t recall giving them for my real ID, but then again, they’ve already got my DNA. then again, I know a lot of fairs here, the sheriffs give you ID’s for your kids and they take fingerprints “in case, your child ever gets kidnapped”. I do agree with the DNA look up sites like 23 and me

As the police had the rifle, the serial number would have led to the father, their address, etc. 20 yo kid, quick match up with the family.
