I don’t know where you got info about a team on the water tower. There were 4 total teams. 2 SS + 2 LEO. Everything above is correct assuming the shooter dot is doing double duty for the 4th team being inside.
I mean...I have a mic on each side of my head and one hell of a processor in-between them.
I'm wearing a pair of these plugged into an audio jack.
Rumor was another shooter on the water tower so I marked it as a point of interest.
Instead of the Mazda dealer there is a building close to the entrance that is ON the Venue grounds.

Seems as most the wind drift across that sTaGGeriNg 145ish yard shot would be less than the width of a baseball so I think that BIG FAT yellow line has it covered.

Seems to be two answers for the rifle.

Also seems Secret Service may have mistaken the shooter for a Butler policeman that should have been on the roof in the first place.

I understood that but curious what kind of sight was used to miss what should have been a fairly easy target to connect with.

Also saw speculation that was a second suspect from that yardage which was claimed to be from the area of a gymnastics building that had line of sight

My guess is the victim with the wounded chest/liver was only shot once. Shot in the chest, temporary cavitation ruptured his liver. I've heard the report that those were two separate wounds; given the apparent wild firing at the end, it just seems unlikely to me that one guy caught two rounds not only in close proximity to each other, but also multiple vital organs, and still survived. Heard he's in an induced coma but praying he pulls through.
I'm sure the FBI is finding all the same stuff.
They probably have 2 or three guys combing this site 24/7 so at the very least they see everything posted here.

Ran across this video that has an interesting animation that seems to show the perspective from the shooters view.
We know that the shooter used a ladder to access the roof. It was concealed by the landscaping from ground level views.

I understand the point you're making and you're not wrong in that point, but I personally don't trust the info released by the FBI, or any alphabet agency for that matter, to be strictly fact.
They will only release what they want us to know and what doesn't make them or their bosses look bad.
If you look at the overhead, it appears the combine shields the stage from a long wide open section of field. Looks like it was exactly where it should have been.
As for the incompetence of the whole roof thing… unreal. Nothing I can add to the dead nuts commentary here already. I hope careers end. Lots of them.

For this to track, we would have to have a 4th bystander hit.
Edit: The angle is all wrong as well. If a shot is coming from a couple hundred feet in the air, it's not going to pass flat across the bleachers like that.
David was by where the rnd impacted the rail. That rnd hitting the rail "could" be evidence that the rnd passed thru.
The rnd hitting the rail would of made it deviate from its path not allowing it to hit the hydraulic cylinder.
That guy that fell is too slim to be James meaning we would need a 4th victim.
It appears that the guy that fell ducked and lost his footing causing him to slip off the seat he was standing on.

Valid points have been made about the mic picking up the initial shots and the sonic boom. It would explain why the shots sound different between the two videos. That and the difference in the actual processing of the audio and location of the mics in relation to where the shots were broke.
In the cell phone video I'm hearing 10 shots. In the other video, I'm having a hard time telling what's what.
If we break this down using what info we have a consensus on....
We have the shooter (AR-15), CS teams 1 and 2 with CS team 1 being over Trump's left shoulder, 2 being over his right (bolt action for both teams), and 3 being the one with the AR-10.
CS team 1 didn't have a shot being that their view was blocked by the tree. Doesn't mean they didn't take a shot of course, just that it doesn't appear that they had a clear view.
I think it's agreed that the first 3 shots are from the shooter, leaving the next 5 that could of only been from the shooter or CS team 3.
This would leave 2 shots unaccounted for.

Ms Cheeto of the SS might not be qualified to lead an elite force, but is ultimately liable for field commanders that put together protection plans for events in their area, even if those plans are shit and get people killed. If plans start to fall apart, then instant corrections need to be made. Those corrections can't come from a remote leader. They need to come from the field.
WHO PUT THE PLAN TOGETHER? The LOCAL BIG SHOT IN CHARGE. If supporting forces, police from all over, don't like sloped rooftops, don't pay them for crappy performance. Send them home and get someone who can do the job up on that roof.
