Like I said before, that second link you just shared showing the Steam post has been debunked. That wasn't Crooks. The user changed the profile name AFTER the assassination attempt. As for the 4Chan link... man I can't bring myself to read that nonsense. I don't understand 99% of what they're talking about anyway. And as for user names, it's just a bunch of random letters/numbers. Where has anybody been able to confirm it was Crooks?

Re-read it, I literally said the same thing you did the Steam posts were faked, they also were not from BEFORE the event, the first 4chan thread was the day before the rally was announced.

Yes those threads are an unreadable word salad, if you think twitter is unreadable you really haven't seen anything yet. Power through it you'll see what you need to, the image in the 2nd post shows the tripcode that ID's him, the difference is the dates, he stopped posting the day before the shooting, anything after is NOT Crooks.

FWIW ... the short black ladder is a telescoping ladder and in the video where they're breaking through the fence to get to the building you can see one of the SWAT guys throw it over the fence on the way to the building ... they brought it with them ... wasn't fully extended when they were shown using it.

Probably one of the ladders the guys in the other video were waiting on when they were complaining no ladders were available at the scene

Also, explaining this isn't helping fuel the conspiracy machine so don't share it with the other guys

After watching FJB in the last debate, I must have some lost major IQ points because the musical cops and ladders scenario don't make a lick of sense to me.

@Terry Cross What is not speculation is that a multitude of parties have spread lies and deceit for almost a decade about Trump. To the point that drones like the shooter in this case would attempt to assassinate a former President.

Everyone that sourced these lies and deceit over the last decade is complicit in the shooters act. Which is in accordance with their own rules and limitation on the 1st amendment where one can not falsely yell fire into a crowd when there is none.

Every single one that suggested publicly that Trump should be eliminated, should themselves be brought up on charges as an accomplice to attempted murder. The punishment may vary in degree according complicity, but these propaganda campaigns that drive people to violent acts should not stand.

*Possibly* ... Crooks accessed the roof using this pipe and supports here ... same side of the building where the crowd was filming him and just outside and below the infamous 2nd floor window. There are also A/C units in this area but they are too far away to be useful.

....and even when their accusations are proven to be false, they look the other way or publish a one line retraction on the back end of an 11pm edition. The damage is already done and that was the mission from the beginning.

48hrs after the event, I was told the shooter had climbed A.C. ducting on the exterior wall to gain the roof.

Might be speculation or BS, so take it for what what it's worth.

Video from inside one of the rooms shows the whole 1st floor room but looks like cameraman leaned out and panned camera though.
Where would you set up with a rifle and not poke the end out the open window. How close to a window in your house/office do you need to be to see about 60 degrees to you left?

I'm sitting at the computer looking thru my glass pained storm door, distance about 7 feet. View is terribly limited, better with the door open.
I have to get up, get close to see around.

There's plenty of HVAC techs here including me. I've been on quite a few of buildings of this type. Climbing the ductwork is not possible in my opinion. Using the uni strut holding the lineset maybe? But it's not structural. It's usually just screwed to the sheet metal siding with self tapping screws. It's just there to keep the copper tubing in place and looking neat. The gutters on these buildings are not something that I would trust to hold my weight. I'd grab it like a drowning man would a life preserver if I was falling but not as a means to get me on the roof.
The bands around the duct maybe an inch and a half and are usually three to four feet apart in a vertical installation. Even if they were only two feet apart Crooks would have to be a rock climbing legend to have the finger strength to hold onto it.

I also don't see a sling on the rifle. There maybe one but I can't make it out. Climbing without the rifle slung across the back isn't happening

Would need to see a real-life photo of the AC/HVAC unit in question, shown in the animation to know for sure. The animation makes it look pretty easy and not that high, and I have climbed up onto buildings/structures using less. But then again, I'm actually a rock climbing ninja haha...

And I don't think anybody is saying he climbed "duct work", unless that means something different to you vs. the layperson. There was an external AC unit of some sort at ground level. Just like the ground AC unit I used to have outside a building I lived in. And I climbed up onto that one no problem. It supported my weight (215 lb) just fine.

Almost all MIL sniper positions are covert. Most LE positions are covert/camo'd.

This event was a permissive environment and overt positions are allowed. Probably even encouraged.
Show of force is on purpose, thus CS teams on the roof tops with full kit visible.



Not all things fit neatly in the same box.

I took the wording to mean some type of duct work or gutter.

I'm tracking with what you are saying about the lack of load bearing ability but I have gotten on roofs via ducts and gutters with 20 to 30lbs on my back a bunch of times.

Some of the guys that were smaller and in better shape than me could get on a 12 foot roof in about 30 seconds. (pissed me off)

We would do it during classes as a challenge and as a learning tool to adapt. I was 200 to 220 lbs at that time and while in decent shape was totally NOT the ninja. We may have popped a few fasteners but never had anything tear off the side of the building. For sure it was not good for the building.

I'm not saying this as any kind of proof that the shooter used this method. I'm just saying if my fat ass could do it, it is totally believable that his lanky ass could as well.
