You need a license for a dog.

You need a license to build a backyard shed.

You need a license to get married.

But these oompa-loompas can squirt out kids like they are Pez dispensters. And there are no concerns that their spawn turns into gangbangers and mysogenated welfare rats. And worse. Not going to elaborate on 'worse.'

Oh... sorry. I'm bringing up some uncomfortable thoughts.

I first heard the license ito have a kid idea years ago. It really pissed me off. Over the past 40 years I’ve grown to accept the idea.

License= government charging you a fee to make money.
Uncomfortable thoughts = the truth, which many people can't handle.
The Oompa-loompas squirt out kids irresponsibly because the government basically endorses it by financing with working peoples tax dollars.

No I didn’t… I just could not bring myself to tease the poor chap further!

Sirhr

Tease all y’all want… it was a great show!

OT: Made the first 900-mile leg of my road trip to have some fabrication work done on my truck with minimmal drama. Once that’s finished, I’ll head up the coast to the Pac NW for some Anniversary/vacation time, then back to Texas in a couple weeks.

My knee knew it was raining before I even cleared the pass going into AZ! 😆

It was a pretty fair sized derecho…I was hauling ass to stay ahead of it as it chased me to the next pass.

I guess a bad day at the range still trumps a good day at work.

Well sort a, when the wheels come off in a match, its kinda hard to take.

I was fighting my “match” rifle on Thursday, when it went from dead on at 775 to could not hit a piece of 4x8 plywood at 300 yards. (Actually it was a 33% silhouette) Went though 8 rounds bracketing the 300 yard target with no luck. So, with a spat of four letter words, I went down range, got a 66% silhouette and set it up at 300. First shot hit the very right edge. Finally got it sort of squared away…..

Went to get my practice rifle off the rack to do some practicing and sure enough, there sat the UNUSED “match” rifle. Shooting the preferred rounds of the match rifle in the practice rifle, does not work very well. And, the match rifle went on to do some of the best shooting I have done this month, right off the bat. Talk about felling STUPID. (Both were the same caliber but for some reason, the practice rifle just won’t shoot the hybrids).

I gotta go too far to shoot any matches. Just recreational shooting here. Today is good practice for those drizzly rainy days in the deer blind.

Drizzling rain, 2-5 mph wind from the left about 10 o'clock.

Not much worse than sitting in a deer blind in the rain. But, tracking one in the rain is worse. And, so is cleaning one in the rain.
