Well, I got 2.5” rain Tuesday night, at least 1” last night (haven’t gone out to see yet) and expected up to 10”+ by Friday.
Gonna go get the generator in place. We’re on a spur so it will never flood here but roadway flooding and power outages are probably coming.

Generator started right up for a test. Have 25g of gasoline here. Chainsaws are sharp and tractor is RTG. I reckon we are about as good as we can be.
The model 99 Savage makes for a nice quick handling brush gun.
Speaking of hunting I stocked this little guy for about six hours.
Although a savage 99 is a nice quick handling brush gun… that’s a Marlin or Winchester in the photo.

I believe that the Savage 99 was a rotary-magazine fed lever gun.

I believe they had both rotary and inline but the vast majority if not all that I remember seeing were rotary to the best of my memory.

Looks more like a Winchester 1886 from here.
