Marinetex or acraglas

In need of advice about compounds, I want to bed a couple of rifle stocks I've done 2 before using bedding kits but I just want to get epoxy since I already have everything else. So I'm thinking marinetex or acraglas, thinking I need something that is not too thick to fill and form. Any suggestions

Both work for me. Acraglas has the advantage of being clear or dyed the color of your choice. It can be thinned if you like but that tends to shorten working time.

MarineTex is thicker than regular acraglas or acraglas gel. I like marinetex better. It doesn’t seem to shrink and it stays where I put it.

yes, doesnt matter. get what goes on sale with the freeest shipping on black friday and let that decide for you. teh devon is nice as well. Marinetex seems to last nicely on the shelf if you have left over.

Marinetex and you might be able to find it at your local Ace Hardware store to save on shipping.
