Well, using ICBMs with conventional warheads is expensive…. And he sure as shit can’t afford to keep doing that.
However, Russia would be lying if they said that they hadn’t already been going after countries that have been supplying Ukraine weapons; they certainly have been attempting to influence our election and use a whole bunch of other methods related to cyber warfare and spying.
he’s already been doing things so to speak on our soil. He was doing so before he invaded Ukraine, and hes continued to do so.
Realistically, it doesn’t do anybody any good let him do whatever he wants, and unless he can get North Korea and China to invade South Korea and Taiwan immediately… It’s unlikely he’ll start World War III because he’ll get his ass kick kicked.
It’s not so much the supplying of weapons…..it’s the actual input targeting of those weapons.
Not really… there are some good letters at the Roosevelt archive in Hyde Park between Roosevelt and the maker and Commandant Holcombe (and later Vandegrift) trying to get Roosevelt to push for the rifle that the Marines apparently didn’t want…. Or at least the commandants were suspicious of.
I have scans somewhere and think I posted them in Vintage among time ago… or maybe they were lost on Scout.

Putin has set himself up for all of this… he’s reaping what he sows. This was going to happen one way or another, it’s just that the timeline is accelerated due to him being foolish in the way that he went about it.
We would arrive at this place one way or another. In this case, it’s more on our terms than on his. I don’t really see a way that this could’ve been prevented in the long-term.
