I have been waiting for page 1955. I was born in 1955. Many years ago I had a beautiful S&W 1955-2 Target in a presentation case like this one.
My father was born in 1917, so I got him an almost NIB commercial S&W Model 1917 like this:
When I got into competition shooting, I needed close to $6,000.00 for an open pistol, and about $3,000.00 for a Limited gun. As a "poor", I sold both of those guns to finance my new habit. Color me stupid.
