You pay the fees, sign the contract, and otherwise fulfill your end of the agreement (and god help you if you breach even the smallest provision in an unrelated contract clause); when it comes time for them to perform per contract, they deny your claim out of hand, then look for any reason they can pretend that you breached the contract, then make you litigate to collect, even when they know they are wrong.
