Got kicked out of a State park for tying fishing line around the center of an unshelled peanut and then anchoring it to a big rock with some (plenty) slack. The Ground Squirrel grabs it and dashes off to hit the end and goes tumbling! It’s all shits and giggles until the Park Ranger shows up!

I always thought the high yes point in Louisiana was that hill they built in the New Orleans Zoo to teach the ‘po kids what a hill was….

I have come to love wool.
Nothing beats it for warmth.
The wooley pulley is made of a special blend that includes fiberglass and asbestos…..even wool lovers find it at the limit of comfortable wear.
I just know that I looked like a freaking strawberry every time I had to wear that thing. Even with long sleeve undershirt.

My first 4wd pickup was a 1989 Chevy K1500 I bought new in the fall of '89.
It caught on fire and burned to the ground New years day 2000.
Bought one just like it from my neighbor about 3 years ago and been fixing it up off on on since then.
I quit driving it several months ago because the front end needed rebuilding.
Got home from work Friday and the wife said she bought me something for the truck and she put it in the front seat.
Wasn't expecting what I found when I opened the door...
