The were members of the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria between October 2015 and December 2017, the prosecutor said in a statement. They allegedly kept a 5-year-old Yazidi girl as a slave starting in late 2015, and a 12-year-old from October 2017.

Prosecutors alleged that the man raped both girls repeatedly and that the woman prepared the room and put makeup on one of the girls.

Too soon?
Biden going to declare the 'official' ceremony for Jimmy on January 20th?
"Adding to the significance, this year’s Inauguration Day, January 20, 2025, coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday that honors the civil rights leader’s legacy. This rare overlap makes the day a unique moment in American history."

To make it worse, it looks like 4 seconds into the video, you can see someone shuts the door on him, when he should be doing a mad dash, and the door closes on him.
This even make the news??
The door was probably not locked, and the kid was shot before he reached the door. If he had a few more seconds, he would have probably made it inside.

and here it is

Democrats are boasting that Jimmy Carter's death could overshadow Donald Trump's upcoming Inauguration due to a long upheld tradition.

Standard protocol states that all flags should be flown at half mast at federal buildings for 30 days following the death of a former president.

A temporary suspension of these sites should get an ample amount of couch surfers to get their butts up off the computer chairs, get out there and start meeting people. Our country's net social skills have suffered since the scamdemic and work from home policies and birth rates are taking a dip too. Not as much as South Korea or Japan but still enough to be a bit concerned. We don't want to end up on their downward slopes.

See that the ATF head resigned ….guess the rats are jumping ship 👍

Even if Brandon Herrera does not get or take the position as ATF director, we have several promising candidates to pick from. Another good choice would be William Kirk, the director of Washington Gun Law, a Seattle based legal firm with decades of expertise fighting for gun rights and shielding armed citizens who have used lethal force to protect life and property. The requirements for ATF director, if that institution cannot be abolished entirely, should be A: Near perfect understanding of Constitutional law as well as criminal law and how to apply discretion, and B: Support for the shooting world and the gun owner community, not support for antigun advocates.

The existence of that institution should be to combat violent crime and trafficking of weapons to entities hostile to the USA, not barrel lengths and firearms accessories...

William Kirk would be a good one as well as Mark Smith of the Four Boxes Diner. Don't forget Stephen Halbrook.

ahh, Bear....so full of fakeness he is. Damn near everything HE showed would get you killed in survival, lot's of high risk stuff; but then again, when one goes and films that shit, and returns to his Westin or W hotel, eh...survival for bear is picking which single malt he's going to charge to the producers.

Can this kind of shit be tried and dealt with federally? POS came into this country from the southern border and ended up in NYC to commit murder. That is crossing state lines involved. A federal warrant plus a detachment of US Marshals sent to NYC and I want to see the NYCDOC try to fight against that. Anything armed robbery and up committed by illegals need to be fasttracked right to fed pen, then to that little hallway right outside of a small white or green room with a gurney inside.

Homan says “Yes”, and is vowing to do it. If NY stands in their way, they’ll go after them too. We’ll see…

If you had some savings back during the Carter and early Reagan years, you could have made bank off the interest rates.

A lot of inflation we have seen since then was caused by interest rates being held artificially too low. If a true free market banking existed, interest rates would be in balance with the real risk of lending money over time.
The issue with the high interest rates, whilst great for the individual that saved their money, is that business HAS to borrow money to expand (generally).

Also, back in those days there was not JIT parts delivery so people had to stock things (and here I'm thinking heavy industrial stuff like transformers, large diameter rigid pipe, 250/500 MCM and the like cable; large diameter plumbing lines, chillers, etc. ) which caused a lot if issues. Businesses couldn't borrow at that rate (22% prime) and and expect to stay in business. So large expansions were largely out of the question for many businesses; so all of a sudden people holding inventory got cooked as the general business model back then was somewhat on-the-come.

This model was supported by the banks themselves at the time...few foreseeing the massive economic shutdown and bankruptcies that followed. very quickly.

Had the "Fed" just let captalism work, and not messed with the interest rate, the interest rate would have naturally corrected itself. Hence, why historically interest has seemed to "work best" when prime is around 7%. That also keeps the riff-raff out of the market who cannot qualify (something we once again have seemed to forgotten...the number of people who operate consistently in debt due to lack of consequence).

The scary thing about this is that you touch some of this stuff and it's in your system. So, pick up that "accidental" 50 dollar bill, it's laced. Not sure how common it is; but I've heard of people getting "poisoned" from money, from shopping carts, etc.

But, then again, the Communists just left the border wide fucking open. Not only drugs, but disease, pestulance and criminals galore are walking across easier than I can go through airport security.
