LR-MEM...one of most boring stretches of highway...yawn. But yes....I-40 needs to be 3 lanes from MEM to LIT. I'm almost shocked the Demo-Zette would publish anything remotely "right." Anytime I go through MEM, and get through without a hitch, I consider myself lucky. Even my libtard neighbor is like....dude...MEM....not good.

The funny thing is the White River rest area was completely rebuilt when the put the new bridge in (and of course they didn't prepare for future and 3 lane it...or I don't think there is room for 3). But it was up for about 2 months....then closed due to the water/sewer fiasco.

Only other stretch of I-40 that’s worse in my opinion is driving 6 hrs thru Oklahoma.
😖 I have an old Navy shipmate that lives between Pagosa Springs & Durango Colorado. I would visit lots more if Oklahoma wasn’t in the way.
Demo-Zette sucks …they only print left wing drivel . Only reason I even look at it is for sports.
Memphis sucks …period ! Only way I’ll be there is on my way somewhere else. 👎

The State of South Carolina taking out the trash: An eyewitness account of Brad Sigmon's firing squad execution:



The number of shooters on the squad was reduced to 3 from the traditional 6 used in other states. Rifles were .308 bolt action Remingtons firing frangible TAP ammo. All three guns were loaded with live ammo, no blank mixed in. Sigmon was basically dressed up in something that looked like a black niqab, strapped down in a manner similar to an electric chair. The only difference is that the juice came in the form of three 150 grain bolts of copper and lead trained on a red bullseye target over the condemned's heart. There is no doubt it was instant lights out for Sigmon, although residual muscle and nerve movements made it look like he continued to 'breathe' for a few seconds after the volley. Sigmon was sentenced to death for the absolutely brutal killings of his ex-girlfriend's parents, and what was even more horrific was the revelation by the crime scene detectives that the baseball bat used in the murders was a light wiffle ball style instrument, which meant that the beatings of the two victims had been prolonged, torturous, and perpetrated with full sadistic malice.

And one final moral from this tragic case: ALWAYS BE ARMED. Even at home. Sigmon should have absorbed 1-2 full doses of 12 gauge 00 buckshot medicine as soon as he entered his victims' home and there would have been no tragedy at all, but an excerpt in American Rifleman Magazine's Armed Citizen bulletin.
