Which study? The first image is through 2021 but for India. The study that produced it was probably in 2022 or 2023.
The male/female by country picture is from I don't know when, maybe 2018, maybe earlier.
The latest data I've ever found is available on a site like who.int which appears to cover up to 2021.
It's an interesting tool to play with even though it doesn't have data up to 2025.
There are three options for the graph lines. Either gender (surprise only two!) or by country (Brazil is winning by far but Mexico is gaining) and age group (75+ in the lead, 55-74 is a distant second, 35-54 is a distant 3rd and everybody else is an also ran so no surprises there either). Unfortunately Russia and the Eastern Block is not included in the who.int data but it tracks fairly well for the rest through 2019 which more or less supports your 2018 observation.
It will be more interesting with newer data.
You can see deaths in sheer numbers for all age groups beginning to trend upward as early as 2014, faster in 2020 but still lower than numbers from 25 years ago.
Changing the filter to express deaths per 100,000 for all age groups the recent spike is more pronounced but still significantly lower than 25 years ago.
If you drill down into ages 15-24 for deaths per 100,000 the numbers are relatively flat for 20 years.
I'd like to find a source like this for recent data. Until then I'm hard pressed to form an opinion on random observations from a ditch doctor.
On a serious note....I wonder how society has come to this? What was the "cause" of this shift that led society to have scads of xe/xem/xose? Was it XaceBook and the narcistic behavior that it promotes - for example, are these people nothing more than attention hounds? Elementary school dynamics? What? It's so illogical that it does not compute - not just this one example; but across the board.
