Hmmm, I wish we'd seen the start of this; because in all honesty she's a bit unhinged here. The whole "by the way I voted for gay marriage" was completely out of context unless something was said earlier about "gay." He tried to reason with Karmelo, and then told him to move to his correct seating. AT MOST, Austin had nudged Karmelo's arm to get him to move along. There is nothing to claim self defense about here, and the kitchen knife in the backpack can even be seen as premeditation. That hoodrat was out to hurt somebody.
