Not sure if this is the correct place to post this thread. I am looking for a suppressor for a 6gt and 223. I will get a separate suppressor later down the road for 30cal stuff. I was looking for something fairly compact and light weight as both of these are hunting rifles, those of you that have tried the wolf hunter what do you think?

I absolutely adore the one I have on a 16.5” 22CM I built last summer. It has its work cut out for it with that barrel length and cartridge and it still makes me giggle when I shoot. Highly recommend it.

Any poi shift or accuracy issues, I saw a couple negative reviews/experiences on rokslide with those types of issues. Seems perfect for my needs (6gt being the largest I plan on shooting suppressed for now)

That rifle has never been shot without that suppressor on it, and that suppressor has never been on another rifle. Accuracy certainly isn’t an issue, rifle is very very accurate. Pretty easy to put down a sub half MOA 5 shot group with it and it’s only 8 lbs or so.

I would avoid DD at all costs... They're kind of a Fudd company. They also support the Fedbois over the 2A... Same with Benchmade knives, Nikon scopes, etc...

I'd go with an Otter Creek Labs Hydrogen-S (6.5mm or .30 caliber model)... Or... Thunderbeast Magnus-S .30 cal. Both are exceptional suppressors with no change in precision (group sizes), and zero POI shift when shooting suppressed, remove it, reinstall it, and then shoot again when you use a quality mount, like the ultralight titanium Otter Creek ZR0-DTA mount (which I think is made by Reardon now, but still excellent quality).

If you look through my YouTube videos, you'll find plenty of videos with both of those suppressors on many different calibers and rifles/platforms...

POI shift is normal in suppressors.

And as mentioned you would be smart to get a .30 can unless you got money to burn as it will be very versatile and used on what you have and .30 as well. If you just want to buy more cans then that’s cool too. I bought three this year already. lol Take a look at the Dead Air Nomad Ti XC. Will do everything you want and you can change the end cap if you want to .223 but really not needed.

After buying a few cans, I wish I would've done this years ago, would've saved me thousands...

30cal, lightweight (ti), HUB standard mounting interface.

What he said. HUB is a huge advantage in changing around attachments.

I think he’s talking about Diligent Defense

That makes more sense, Diligent are good cans.

But Daniel Defense also makes cans, which is what threw me off…Crappy ones. Like Sig. And Q. 😂

I'm used to DD being short for Daniel Defense for all these years. It gets confusing when people use the same initials for short for multiple difference companies.

Not the Wolf Hunter but I have the Enticer L Ti and at a match, almost every RO comes up after the stage is over to look at the can and ask me what can it is. Pretty much every one says it's the quietest they have ever heard. If SS sold DD, I would have a WH and another L Ti. Mine has been phenomenal.

I have an enticer Ti S. I like DD and they have always been good to me. I got a direct thread adapter out of spec and they shipped out a replacement immediately.

People I know that have the WH like it but you could always add a 6mm end cap to the enticer. I think pew science might have some data on that but I can’t remember.

My go to recommendation is DD and Otter Creek. For your situation I would lean more DD.

You can run .223 endcaps or .30 endcaps, plus soon a pretty effective break.

If you looking for versatility look no further

I have the enticer S ti and I think it’s a tad bit quieter than my 8” SAS. For the price they are hard to beat. Diligent makes great cans and a pretty affordable price. And as stated above they have end caps that you can change out.

I have the DD Wolfhunter and Enticer S-ti. Great cans but I would say if you want to save money you can put the 5.56/6mm endcap on the S-ti and get near the same performance and be able to use it on your 30 cal stuff by switching endcaps. If you want a dedicated 22/6mm Ti can I don't think you can beat the Wolfhunter for it's size/weight/cost/performance ratio. It's performance and feature set are wayyyy above it's price range. I got mine on sale at primary arms with the bonus bucks it was less than $600. Comes with 1/2x28 and 5/8x24 titanium direct thread mounts.
