Current PVA prefit turnaround times

Hi all,

Anyone know what the current turnaround times for PVA prefits are roughly? I'm in a slight time-crunch and was wondering if anyone had recent insight into what the current turnaround times were - bonus if you know the turnaround times for a fluted and cerakoted barrel.

I know they have a rush option I'm not sure if that is just for the machine work or for the whole thing.

Just received a barreled action from them with an Osprey prefit. Right at 7 weeks delivered to my FFL. It was not fluted or cerakoted.

I’m at just over 10 weeks waiting for a cerakoted prefit. I was told 6-8 weeks plus another 2 for Cerakote. I would bet fluting would add another 1-2 weeks. If your in a hurry it might be wise to call them and see what they can do.

This was 6 months ago but I ordered a 30cal barrel to be spun up. No cerakote, no flutes.

2 DEC - Ordered and paid extra for 2 week rush

16 DEC - Shipped

I did order a similar setup as well for my 6.5 on 30 Apr with same rush fee. Will see how quick it is.

"Osprey Blanks and Prefits: We're doing pretty well here as usual, standard lead time is 8 weeks and we have some rush slots allocated after hours each week for those who find themselves in a bind (or they're just impatient ;-)"

id call them regarding cerakote /fluting

I called them up and placed and order. Cerokoted but not fluted, standard rush, should be here in two weeks.
