Had a driver try to do that shit to me years ago, got lucky and braked hard and they passed in front of me. Never forget you are vulnerable as hell on two.

Video doesn't show what led up to that . I've been bumped from behind purposely for stopping at a stop sign . Had a guy try to hit me from behind while I was stopped to turn . Had a guy my age pull up along side at a red light and start screaming " punk ass " at me ????

A motorcycle going toe to toe with an automobile always loses. As a motorcyclist, the proper way to deal with asshole automobile drivers is to follow them until the automobile driver arrives home. Then you know where the asshole lives.
I’m more inclined to believe that the biker was acting like a cuntface. Like a lot of bikers I see doing
I don’t understand it. I see a lot of videos of bikers acting like morons and then getting pissed at motorists because they almost get hit. Why the attitude like it’s ok to be reckless and expect everyone to notice you flying up on them at 100+mph?

I had a friend tell me one time that a man that was outside his house and gave his wife some shit as she was driving by.....in her defense, he rolled up in his F250 and started doing the rooster from the seat of his car.....this Ol boy was watering his grass with a hose - wanna guess what happened next?

Here's the deal. Pretend the biker was being a dick. Lane splitting, showing off, even yelling at the car driver. That is still not justification for attempted murder by means of hit-and-run collision.
Any prosecutor could say, "At what point, mister car driver, can you say that your live was in such great danger that you needed to enact harsh and possibly deadly force? The biker was in his lane and you purposely swerve into his lane.

Sure, not questioning that. But biker 100% put himself in that situation. So if you’re willing to put yourself in stupid situations then be prepared for people to act stupid.

The LEO officer in the video mentioned that they have information that the SUV driver had been driving recklessly in the last few days. The motorcyclist may have been flipping the guy off because of his aggressive driving.
Hoping the SUV driver spends a few years in prison. Aggravated assault is usually 20 years, same as attempted murder, but is much easier to prove.

I've ridden over 100,000 miles on Harleys over the past 50 years...........do not fuck around with something that has 4 wheels, or more..........you will lose..........the drivers of those vehicles favorite answer is............I didn't see them..............play stupid games, win stupid prizes...........

A friend of mine was hauling ass on his bike near the arden fair mall going like 80mph and then he saw the sky and was rolling on the pavement. Some old filipino lady with a big station wagon, no license and no insurance pulled in front of him and he hit the back so hard he flew like superman lol.

Perhaps at one point a weapon was shown.

should he have put his own safety above that of the surrounding public and not confronted the reckless driver?

It was the West coast, so it a high probability the mini van driver is an illegal immi.
I personally know 2 people taken out by Autos in last 5 months, both went to intensive care, and life changing injuries. Both did everything right on there Bikes. It rough out there. Lost one good friend also ( him and wife ) Riding, who was hit head-on by a drunk x-ing fully into his lane of travel . I rode on the street for a lot of years around here, exact same area as this Vid, and I feel Lucky only had interaction with ( 1 ) Crazy try to intentionally kill me with his vehicle while I riding .

Why hasn’t anyone pointed out the driver of the van, sure as fuck, isn’t an American. He’s playing Brazilian rules.
The motorcyclist is extremely lucky he was pushed off the highway to the shoulder area or he could have easily been run over by someone behind him if he landed in the middle of the freeway.
Seems to describe the majority of drivers. Spend a little time at a four way stop. Most drivers are mortified someone will “go out of turn.” It’s as if adding one more vehicle added to the hundreds of others ahead of them will ruin their day.
Most drivers can’t negotiate a left turn without using on coming lanes.
Engaging in road rage has to be in the top ten stupidest things a person can do. Having said that, based on the shit I see on a daily basis, I’m amazed there aren’t more incidents.
Yeap! I see that shit all the time here in Arizona, so many cars with huge dents/scrapes/bumper held on with duck tape. They run into each other for the sheer joy of it.

And 4 way stops here in podunkville idaho are where you demonstrate to the village how selfless you are. The purpose is to see who can be last to go.
I think rules of a 4 way stop are:
1. whoever is there first retains the right to wave everyone else through.
2. A more vigorous waver assumes the role and waves cars through.
3. If two cars arrive simultaneously, and only after a false start is made by both then the FIRST one to quickly wave the other through is allowed to sit there while everyone else goes first.
God only knows what happens when you have multiple cars AND pedestrians in the crosswalk. I guess the pedestrian is granted waving rights?

Funny you mention that because the out of towner snowbirds do that here in Arizona. The locals just stomp on the gas pedal. Left, right, straight, turn, whatever, just hit the gas and honk.
