Worth a watch

It's long and there are a few points not accurate but for the most part spot on .
It's not the typical posturing or Bravado . It's a sober evaluation .

I am not going to watch the whole thing but he makes good points. Things I have already considered. Some people in my sphere of contacts are already expecting it. Food storage that would feed a squad for a few years. Several AR-15s. Thousands upon thousands of round of ammo and including trays to handle and organize ammo cans.

I am not looking for this to happen but I do have weapons that can address several situations. A number of bolt actions. An AR-15, AR-10, hand gun, shottie (with bayonette.)

Question is, how long would a civil war last this time?

Asymmetric Warfare .
Using Social Media to keep people suppressed and in fear . A mental terrorism .

Some experts believe that we are headed to a Civil War .
We are in a state of Civil Strife . Violence directed at Conservatives .

So many points . I'd suggest watching .

You're spot on with the social media. So many people I work with are constantly terrified about something they saw on fakebook.

It has been VERY reliable. 300' well, water at 240'. I have the pump at 290' and turned to 10% capacity through a 5 stage filter set into a 1000 gal tank and one of their transfer pump systems to pump it to the house. Outside water is not filtered again but the rest is, 5 more stages. RO to the refrigerator for water we actually drink and ice.

100% solar off-grid with batteries (of course, I'm not as stupid as Spain). Good for 3 days of no sun. I do have a propane generator. Less than 4 hours to go from 10% battery to 100% and then back for 3 more days. Tank lasts a LONG time. I am estimating 3 years.

Ponds, grass, garden, not urban at all.

Ammo. Launchers.

2-3 years of calories stored, depending on how soon we decide to ration or share.

Yet...no fortress.

We would not survive a small organized squad in the middle of the night. I only hope one or two would never be able to attempt again and the others might give pause. 3 man team and we are just not here anymore.

Even so, I get a sense of satisfaction and security when I see 100% battery and the MPPT charger in float providing JUST enough juice thru to run whatever is on. Notice the Inverters and other electronics involved eat some juice.

The point is, one guy might survive if he can be on the move and stay away from others. Once you dig in, you won't last long at all against even a small force.
