If man power of staffing or officer safety was an issue couldn’t they quit writing tickets and issuing fines for a few fucking hours and go arrest the convicted murderer or human trafficking ring leader standing on the corner- just a few hours a week?

Those aren't babies, afterall. Just a clump of cells. Unless the mother has a miscarriage, in which case she'll post constantly on social media about losing her child, a mother's grief, and celebrating the "expected birthday" of her rainbow baby.
