This video feels somewhat relevant to shooting. Not sure which elements fully translate.
I put a Timney in my M70. Works just fine. Have it set to about a pound. It isn't a Trigger Tech but works fine and is very consistent. Only gripe was it took some fitting that I was not expecting to need to do.Timney triggers work just fine.
I have a few and no complaints.
Only thing a tikka needs is a yo dave spring.
People have decided they need a 12 oz trigger to shoot.
I frequently get several groups in the high .2s to low .3s with a 2 lb trigger.
If I dont it is because I am sucking, not the Timney….. (700 and 700 clone(ish) actions, not tikka)
I have had conversations with several folks this week about the overarching topic of government. I have come to understand over the last several administrations that political movements in the former US have more in common with professional wrestling than representation.
On the Epstein/pedo subject, nothing will be done (despite the hopes from the current administration) because the result of allowing the truth to be known would cause western society to break. Seriously unravel.
Same with JFK’s murder.
Same with Pearl Harbor.
Same with 9/11.
Same with the moon landing.
Same with DJT’s assassination attempt.
Same with the 2020 election.
Same with Biden’s cognitive state while president.
Ect…
When I was younger I loved the US, the idea (we were taught) behind it and the documents that founded it. The men who went into hell for the nation and fought-died-were maimed are heroes but sadly were also just used.
No I don’t wish Kamala won.
I can’t imagine what would already have taken place if she had. I imagine world war would’ve already begun….but I am not so sure it won’t anyway. Europe and the Mediterranean are a powder keg. Russia is preparing to defend itself from NATO. China is primed and despite jokes, is very capable.
Meanwhile our country is spending money we don’t have on a parabolic curve. The unstoppable might of the USA is not so unstoppable now. Manufacturing is largely gone. Critical items are imported and as we saw 2 years ago, the scarcity of them can cause huge problems.
While attempts to pump the brakes on socialism are technically good, the fact is we are already socialist. 50% of the working age people don’t have gainful employment and most get money from the other half who are. My daughter got back more tax money than she paid in this last year.
From being in the addiction recovery space I saw first hand the abuse of individuals who know the system and know how to manipulate it. The amount of tax money spent just on addicts is STAGGERING, just In Virginia. While we rip on the “hood” for being on assistance, the amount of “assistance” used by rural whites is just as prevalent. The government dole is a space people ASPIRE to rather than an embarrassing temporary stopgap.
The Big Beautiful Bill while full of more incredible spending, is absolutely necessary to keep the debt based economy going and avoid a near future crash. No it isn’t “right” but fact are facts. Stopping the spending will collapse us faster.
I believe the goal is to collapse the world together so everyone is on equal footing. War certainly could facilitate that.
