Hmmm...I could be wrong but I'm betting Israel has already taken steps or action (taken out offensive weapons of Iran) to prevent Iran from launching counter strikes. When the morning breaks here in the US it will be interesting to see what the media is reporting.
It's time for two things:
1) a definitive, "few hundred years long" fix of our republic, crush the Left, and reset us back to liberty & peace
2) a definitive fix by Israel against their hostile neighbors, and Israel's expulsion of the Gazans out of the part of Israel known as Gaza.

This right here. A large portion of the Iranian people, specifically the younger generations are quite pro western. They even tried to push back from the leadership in I believe 2013, but thanks to captain Kenya who came out in support of the pro terrorist leadership they were crushed. TBH, I'm not in favor of the destruction of Israel. For the simple reason that Christianity is based on Judaism and so many sites/artifacts, etc, that are meaningful to Christians are found in Israel. I want to go see them, once things cool down. It's the only place where I can actually see tangible evidence that go towards what the Bible wants me to take on faith. That said, there's another place I'd want to see, but that might be a much more Herculean effort. I want to visit Saudi Arabia to visit Jabal Maqla to see for myself it that really could be the "alternate" site for M. Sinai. I guess I'll have to wait for my passport to renew again after I visit Israel.

I think it will play out for israel ,the wild card of course is iran has already made a few nuclear bombs and decides to use them or try to ,even then it will die [pun] down. Neither country has in house capability of putting armies in each others territories for a land war . I do not think israel would" first use" an atomic weapon on an adversary unless they were NBC 'ed besides there are not too many military targets in iran that require a nuke and no sane power wants to go after a large city just for a body count . I trust the IDF is being VERY careful what nuclear facilities they are taking out as to not cause a man-made nuclear melt down radiation release across the gulf and farther .

They have a first use policy in the event of existential threats. They came very close to using them during the Yom Kippur war, to the point that planes were armed. These were tactical and were to blunt Egyptian and Syrian armored thrusts that were within an RCH of breaking out into Israel.
