Open to others that I may have missed. I have a TBAC titanium version on one can and a SS Otter Creek on another (latter is not lo-pro), but am interested in canvassing the field.

I’m looking to reduce the OAL of my suppressor a little. Not sure if there’s a material difference between titanium vs SS in this application (besides weight), but I note the SS Otter Creek one seems to have less wobble when spinning it on. Maybe that’s not important?

Must have wrench flats and be DT and want quality (low runout). Price not important.

Kinda attracted to the Rex as it reduces the OAL the most, but I wonder about Rex quality and if the design has some trade-offs (reduces blast chamber too much, maybe?).

I’ve been using a few of the Rex DT mounts (1/2x28, 5/8x24, 3/4x24) for a few years now and have been happy with them. I seem to remember them being closer to $50/ea when I purchased them.

They are extremely low profile and add almost nothing to the length of the can. The mounts do extend into the blast chamber a bit, but in my particular application it hasn’t caused any issues. The wrench flats aren’t very tall, and require a very large spanner, but work well enough, especially with anti-seize on the threads.

I’ve also been using one of the Dilligent Defense titanium mounts in your link (a 5/8x24) for a few months, and It’s a good product too.

I’ve no experience with the other mounts you linked to.

Fella on here is/was selling some that didn’t have that nub on the end. I bought a couple and they are nice. Not a huge difference, but the cap sits flush with the shoulder on the barrel

he never listed a brand, just some contract overruns he procured I think. Maybe he can comment? @BulletScientist

Here are the hub mounts

Those look to be nearly identical to SilenceerCo mounts (I have a couple of those too). They’re nice, but require a compatible tool to remove from the back of a can.
Tool comes with every one right? Did with both I got, sealed in the bag like factory.

I see the wrench flat requirement, for some reason it didn’t register with me

No prob. I just like the universality of a regular wrench vs. a speciality tool.

I also own a couple Banish suppressors from early on my suppressor journey, and those fuckers use some weirdo shitballs tool for the front endcaps that usually slips off. 🤬

Do you guys care if the adapter is SS or titanium? The advantages of titanium would seem to be weight (of course) and that it’s CLR-proof. Not sure if Ti threads last as long as SS over many many on/offs, but I would imagine that’s not a factor.

It’s just weird how loose that Ti adapter is when threading on the can vs. all of my other cans, all of which have SS threads.
